On the 9th of March rm 25,24 and 23 went to Howick Historical village.
When we got there we lined up and then we sat on the steps.
Then Mrs Rodgers and Mrs Helen introduced them self and the village.
We had our morning tea and lined up into a girl and boy line.
Then we went into this olden day house kind of place and we had to do a scavenger hunt in a type of code. Once we figured it out we went to figure out the words in

one of my favourite thing's there was the school because of the checking your nails and the putting your pants in the river and then getting a smacking on the butt.( the funny story's). :)

ReplyDeletewell mine was probably play all the games with my cousin and my brother my favourite game was dutch blitz it is a really fun card game what was your favourite thing you did in quarantine?
DeleteGreat recount Rita! I am glad you enjoyed the trip especially learning new forms of communication. I really enjoyed the lesson with the teacher, where she went around checking students nails to see if they were clean or dirty.

ReplyDeleteHey Rita, great to see your awesome writing. Like Mr Greenfield and your teacher, I really liked the school house. I thought it was so amazing how times have changed. Imagine how boring our classrooms would be if children were only allowed to talk when they were asked to. :(
